Delicious Moong-Dal Halwa :North Indian Dish
INGREDIENTS:
1. Paste of soaked split green gram skinless (bhigoyi hui moong ki dal ki paste)- 1 cup
2. Green cardamom powder - one small tablespoon
3. Milk - 1 cup
4. Saffron for garnishing
5. Cut Almonds 7 -8
6. Ghee 1 cup
7. sugar 1 cup
Method:-
step 1:-
heat ghee in a non stick pan. add moong dal paste and mix into ghee in medium heat.
keep stirring continuously till the paste become golden at least 30 minutes.
step 2:-
heat milk in another pan, add sugar, saffron, cardamom powder and add this mixture in moong dal and switch heat.
step 3:-
add khoya to moong dal and almond and mix well.
step 4:-
cook halwa in low heat for at least 10 minutes and remove lid.
step 5:-
switch off heat and garnish with chandi wark .
